Is fear a common companion in your life?

Uncategorized Dec 13, 2018
Is fear a common companion in your life?

Do you notice that when faced with decisions and opportunity, fear pops it's head up, tends to take over the conversation, and then in hindsight, you have regret because you miss out on things?

Do you know that fear and low energy have a direct relationship? It's no accident that you find yourself living less with low energy, not just because you don't have the energy to fuel your dreams, your desires, the things you'd love to do, but because the lower our energy state, the more fear gets a stronghold.

It's a funny mechanism. It looks like this: chronic stress, over obligation, overthinking, being of our purpose, being of our passion, that actually tells your cells to shut down energy production, because to our body, there is no difference between those things and having to run from a bear and go into survival mode. The thing is, we've adapted to it so much, we don't recognize it as that, we don't feel our heart rate increase, but regardless, the cells turn off energy production.

Inevitably, that cuts them off from life force, from divine knowledge, from divine language.

Now, once and a while, this is tolerated, but in a chronic state it has a huge consequence.

It's almost like someone turned off the power to parts of a building and then those parts of the building get cold and they get stiff. You can still walk through the rooms, but it's not the same experience. There's no life there. It's just stark. It's kind of what happens at the cellular level.

Now you have trillions of cells and your body is wise and certainly gives the effort to turn off non-essential processes as much as it can, but when that life force leaves or is diminished in those areas. The funny thing is is that what takes over is fear and worry and anger and sadness.

As this process goes on for years and years and years, we find ourselves being driven more by I must do, I have to do and fear and worry and anger and consequently, more of our life gets ruled by what we can't do, by what seems impossible, by what appears to be unreachable.

I see this so often, this connection between energy and fear is profound and yet, with our understanding of it, we can go one layer deeper. The emotion of fear is the stagnant emotion, the worn-down emotion of the kidney in Chinese medicine. Now the kidney directly relates to energy because it is the seat of your longevity.

It is the fuel for your deep passions, for your purpose here, but for most people, that Kidney Qi has been drawn down over the last 10, 20 years at a minimum because of the constant pushing forward because of the attitude of doing more because we don't believe in stopping. We take on too much and we believe that being superhuman is the mantra of success. The weaker the kidney gets, the more fear gets a purchase. So the remedy to fear is very simple.

It is number one, to visualize what you most want and number two, to take the leap to claim it no matter what, because the truth is,  a life lived in fear, a life lived in lost opportunity, a life lived in not being at your best, at your passion, at your joy is a life lost. It is a life that will end in regret and it is one where you lose the chance to provide influence to those you were called here to provide influence for and it is one where you lose yourself to exhaustion.

The third step is reclaiming real energy, which means being able to get into those cell layers and turn off those alarm responses and restart that furnace and turn the lights back on. So the rooms take on life again. It is being able to cultivate real energy in the body so that you stop drawing from your kidney and you stop taking away from your longevity for ridiculous things like running one more errand, taking on one more project, saying yes to one more needless thing, and in doing those three things, your life becomes yours again and instead of fear, we have kindness and stillness and compassion and joy and forgiveness,  gentleness and courage.

What would that be like?
