Meditation doesn't stop stress

Despite what a lot of people think when they hear the word stress, it isn't a need to calm down.

Most think I just need to calm down, I just need more calming space, I just meet need more yoga, meditation, breathwork and essential oils.

But, that's not really what's being called for when we talk about stress response.

Although meditation can be good, although yoga can be good, although breathing can be good, it isn't it.

See, stress is often mistaken for a need for these things because the word is used in so many contexts.

So, we get caught thinking that all of these “stress release” techniques are going to deal with the cellular problem of being stuck in stress mode, but they simply can't.

Stress release techniques are amazing for when we are in a state of overwhelm where we feel like we're being stretched to our limit, they bring us back down closer to an equilibrium point.

The problem is, most people's equilibrium point is 10 notches above their ideal.

Rather than spiking and settling back down, they live in a perpetual state of stress that they have adapted to much like the frog in the pot of water being slowly heated to boiling on the stove.

It doesn't jump out because the water rise is gradual enough that the frog adapts and that's where we're living in this adaptive phase.  

We know intellectually we are wearing ourselves out, but because we have enough distractions to engage with, we don't FEEL the impact in our body the way we should.

Consequently, our perception of the big changes taking place biochemically,  hormonally and in our nervous system get missed.

Thing is, we biologically go into this state and we stay there unless the chemical signals to stop are received at cells capable of responding.

This means, your cells need not only the message to calm but have to be biologically able to implement the message!!

Therefore, we meditate, we stretch, we breathe and then what…..in many people…..nothing!

Getting out of this biological, cellular state requires a complex approach which takes into consideration that we do actually live in a physical structure….interacting in an energetic field.

To heal the stress state at this level, our mind, nutrients, food, detox and movements have to all align under one common purpose….to turn off the biological stress response and heal the cell so the cell can support enhanced vibration, and thus grab the energetic potential of our non-physical restoration methods like meditation, breathwork and so on.

Vitality and chronic stress cannot exist mutually in the same body.  Therefore, knowing your biological stress state and knowing how to change it at the cell is the most key piece in healing and in longevity.

Forget fancy processes, boutique supplements, compounded hormone creams and binaural beats and all the other band-aid methods being offered, because they are just that...surface halfway distractions eating up your energy and money you could be using to actually heal, turn off the stress response, and thus change your health future forever.

Why scratch the surface when it is possible to heal the root?
