I can't tell you the number of times that I've spoken to a woman who has just an absolutely beautiful dream, you know, opening a custom boutique filled with beautiful things, teaching English as a second language, writing a book, traveling the world, doing photography, taking their kids on a trip of a lifetime, quitting their day job, opening their dream business. Â
Over and over and over, I hear these amazing dreams of women, dreams that have been on their heart for so long, dreams of expansion, dreams of living out their full best possible reality. They're heartfelt desires, deepening their relationship with everything they've ever loved. Â
It’s no wonder I see these dreams start to manifest in the women that I work with,  I see them start to grow in relationship with what they most love and most want, I watch their lives expand.
But, in my conversations, Â I also see a lot of women hold those dreams and then step back into the shadows, succumbing to exhaustion and wear down and ho...
Do you use exhaustion as your proof of productivity or worthiness?
Have you been hanging onto it for that reason?
One of my clients told me one day that because she doesn't have kids, she feels like if she found a job she loved instead of the hectic one that makes her have to travel all the time, then she wouldn't have a reason to justify to all of her friends with kids why she's tired.
Are you doing that? Are you living your life allowing for overburdening and exhaustion because it is the only way that you're proving to the world that you're of worth?
Is it working?
Do you think the world views you as being so much more of a contributor because you allow yourself to stay stuck in that space every single day? What does it robbing you of?
Are you really worth more? I mean in every sense of the word, are you physically more bountifully vital than you were before, or are you economically more stable than you could ever imagine?
Are you living your dream? Do you wake up every day

I used to be really tired, in fact, that's the whole reason why I talk so much about what real energy is and where illness comes from because in my own journey I discovered that it wasn't what I had been taught in school.
It wasn't what my functional medicine training had taught me. It wasn't just repair the adrenals. It wasn't just repair the thyroid. It wasn't that it just heal the gut. It wasn't a methylation disorder. It wasn't just toxicity. It wasn't just candida. I know because I tried to solve all of those.
What I discovered, the real cause is rooted five layers deeper than all of that. Those other things were at the surface, they were a conversation at the top, not a conversation deep in, and so I, like most people I had studied with had been looking at the wrong thing.
Sadly, Â the consequences were really huge.
Maybe this will resonate with where you are, but back then, there were two of me...
The public me and the private me.
The public me smiled, was engaging, laughed...
Food is our most valuable medicine. Â What we eat shapes how we feel, how we think, and how we live. Â When we lose connection with food, our cells suffer, causing organ and hormonal stress. Â Part of any great healing plan involves cultivating an intimate relationship with what we eat. Â Without this, even the most powerful plans fall short. Â Although many find changes to diet difficult, with proper guidance, time, and coaching, anyone can adopt new patterns and create new behaviors.
Food is one of my passions, I read about it in my spare time, I cook every meal my family eats to ensure quality and taste and I try to continually update my knowledge base and resource lists to help others get access to what will nourish them most.
I also believe that food is what cures us, you can take the best, most expensive supplements the world has to offer but without good food, nothing fantastic will ever happen. Why? Because eating is the only common thing we do besides sleeping every day. And we do...
It seems like a lot of people are on the search for the “perfect” Doctor.
Sorry to say, that just isn’t the answer to your health journey.
Truth is, if you have exhaustion, hormonal issues, inflammation, autoimmune issues, weight issues, and pain - you have patterns you will need to manage and deal with the rest of your life.
So, what if you find that perfect person and they retire? Or worse yet...die?
Then What?
Wouldn’t it make more sense to learn to adopt habits that can always work? To access skills that are specific to your system and how you operate?  To know how to recognize what your body does under stress and how to change those patterns no matter what happens?
If you know this - you won’t ever have to search out that “perfect” practitioner ever again!
It is time we cultivated our own knowledge and skill and took responsibility and ownership of our personal healing. Â Now, you DO need someone to show you what steps you need, and to guide you through what will work and wh...
Do you know that feeling when your beloved caresses you - and your skin lights up, you get goosebumps, you feel that lovely warm rush and tingling throughout your body and you just want more.
How long has it been since you felt that?
I ask because I talk to women all the time who haven’t felt that in years...that rush of anticipation, those goosebumps, that excitement, that sense of desire - and they miss it.
Sadly, the longer it's been gone, the further away from it we are, the more distant it seems, and the less we relate to it.
You probably know that feeling, where that look of desire from your partner, prompts frustration, sometimes even anger - “Just get away from me”  “Oh No, not now” “I'm busy” “I'm tired.”
That something that used to make you giggle now makes you cringe and even sometimes makes you want to lash out because it feels more like control an obligation.
Some women come to accept this as just part of aging, because so many of their friends are experiencing it.

A lot of women know they have hormone imbalances. It's not a surprise, they have all the symptoms, they've been to the doctor, and sometimes they've had tests done to prove they have hormone issues. Some proclaim they have flattened cortisol levels, or low testosterone or estrogen, or progesterone levels. And honestly, most of these women attribute it at least partly to stress.
I get it, with Dr. Google and every other source out there, no matter who you are and what you are experiencing, it becomes obvious quickly...hormones are involved and so is stress.
So, it is time to ask - do you just have a hormone imbalance and a stressful life or is there more going on?
Truth be told, the medical world...both alternative and conventional stops at hormone imbalance, and gives lip service to stress, but rarely offers up more than meditate more and maybe do yoga.
Which is of course why so many women get led into doing hormone replacement. Initially, it seems like a logical answer...something...
